Starting Keto Nutrition:  A Road Map

  1. MAKE A FULL COMMITMENT  
    No Excuses, you must be willing to do whatever it takes to succeed. You will make mistakes.  You simply re-center, re-commit and move forward.
  2. RESEARCH & STUDY  
    Read, Watch Videos, Listen to Podcasts and audio books.  Learn as much as you can about Keto, Fasting, autophagy, Cholesterol, Fats, Sugars, Diabetes, insulin, and heart disease.  If you have thyroid or gall bladder issues, learn about how to adjust keto for your condition. Listed are some recommended Video, Audio and Print Authors.
  3. PLAN  
    Consider the things that could possibly cause you to fail, and have an action plan for it.  Consult with your Doctor.    Get a coach if you feel you need one. Plan for the “Keto Flu”.. you should have learned about this in Step Two.   Clean your cupboards of bad foods. Go shopping for good foods.
  4. BEGIN
    Set a start date and stick to it.  
  5. MONITOR AND ADJUST
    If you do not measure , you cannot adjust as needed. Monitor your Glucose, Ketones and weight, monitor and log your your food and macros. as you learn, adjust as needed to keep you on target.
